I'm just going to leave this here. I couldn't wait for the other member's photos to come out when I came across these. I took it and ran with it...impatient Sagittarius. I love and appreciate all the members though! :) It's always fine to fangirl when you actually like people's actual personalities. You can learn more about yourself that way.
There are no expectations vs reality in this example.
It's best to focus on the expectations for yourself first and foremost though.
The reality will eventually match up for what you want.
These two are great starting points for qualities you may desire.
Side Note: The funniest thing about posting these photos right now is that these are literally showcasing me back in L.A. (leather decor and all) trying to get back to Asia again/Jeju SK (rental house "housewife"). The Universe plays too much! Do take note of it when it does though! :)
Nomad Life and "Retired" Life?
I treat Pride month like it's Sagittarius season. It's going to be a lot of truthful memes for a bit. I can't guarantee that this is the last one that I've come across on the net. It's a good one though. ;)
A lot of women have complained over the years about how unaffectionate their partners are.
I personally suggest creating mutual bucket lists and planning activities and/or travels every 3 weeks to stay stimulated. The Universe vibrates to 3s after all.
I do understand that some people need more affection in their relationships as part of that stimulation though. This is where zodiac sign compatibility can come in handy.
Here are the Top Affectionate Signs and "Least" Affectionate Zodiac Signs.
Disclaimer: You "graduate" to fully become your zodiac sign around age 40. If you find that you don't quite fit your zodiac sign, it could be your rising sign's "mask" that was thrown on around age 7.
Other signs in your birthchart and/or chinese astrology sign (mentioned in the post below) can also interfere.
Top/More affectionate - Cancer, Pisces, Libra, Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio
Least/More action oriented - Aries, Gemini, Aquarius, Capricorn, Leo, Sagittarius
If you're focusing on astrology compatibility, make sure to check someone's Chinese sign and Zodiac sign.
Understanding both can help you figure out the different types of personalities that you may meet in a person.
It's always best to look at multiple descriptions about each as well.
Every astrologer interprets differently.
As a Sagittarius Rooster, both of my signs are often interpreted by people who are neither sign. Luckily both of my signs have a great sense of humor, along with some blunt honesty.
P.S. If you're dealing with a Sagittarius Rooster, here's the best way to describe them in true Millennial form. I have grown up with Sagittarius men and Monkey men.
Don't take it too personally. Women with these signs should be able to relate as well.
Sagittarians love to play games like Monkeys. However, Roosters will tell you that "you play too much" and it's time to get to work. It's all about balance. :)
P.S.S Astrology memes are a great way to get to know the East meets West signs without a lot of blah blah blah. You're welcome. ;)
The friend zone topic was trending today after a comedian told the truth about men in friend zones. He simply stated that men in the friend zone were there because someone has put them there aka You! They only stay there because they are waiting for their opening to be friends with benefits or in an actual relationship. He also mentioned that he doesn't have any female friends, only male friends. He has a wife and that's it.
I really don't know what the fuss was about from women who disagreed with him. It's completely true! So many women know this as well. They always ask me if they should worry about their boyfriend's female friend(s). It's understandable.
The bottom line is that everyone just needs to be more upfront in friendships and relationships.
If you have a male friend that's "straight", let him know that you like him as a friend...For Now. lol That "For Now" will save everyone some time. This applies to LGBT friendships as well.
I say all of this from experience as a friendly little oh bi Sagittarius women. We are one sign that always has people on a waiting list due to our freedom oriented natures. I think it's time to streamline in 2021 though. Keep it to the Rule of 3s OR just 1 if you're not looking to have some fun.
This has been your public service announcement for the month.
Carry on now.
Can you guess what time of the year I'm about to talk about? :D
It's Halloween! :D
Halloween is a great time for couples to dress up, throw a little dinner party, and/or go to one!
I'm no stranger to Halloween. I've won prizes dressed as a Grey alien with full method acting.
I've also dressed up as a clown, witch, and vampire before. Being in childhood plays as a flower, cat, and top hat jazz dancer in choirs and dance groups are just some others to count.
If you're a little bit "extra" or have entertainment backgrounds, you should really take Halloween on with your partner.
You may learn a little bit about your partner's "shadow sides" after a run down of costume ideas as well. Make sure to take note if their ideas get a little too "psycho" though.
Nobody should make time for that.
Some simple ideas for Halloween beyond the above mentioned include celebrities to the unique.
Just avoid actual cultural groups. That's another thing to look out for. Common sense is still not that common. Nobody should make time for that lack either. ;)
Here are two funny skits below for a laugh and/or Halloween ideas this year. :)
P.S. Neptune will continue to be in Pisces until 2026 as mentioned on the Spirit Blog.
Easy on the cruises, oceans, lakes, rivers, water spirits, and/or water pollution.
The iceberg made my point though. hehe
Relationships may require work, but not toooo much work.
It's fun to be indulgent at times. :)
* Minimalism - Less is more when it comes to navigating your living spaces. It makes it easier to relax and clean. Consider a calming zen theme (yin) of beige and green for example.
Living plants (yang) can bring life to your theme to keep things balanced.
* Delegate Tasks - Everything has an app these days for errands. Make chores easier for yourself with a little delivery every now and then.
* Satin Pajamas, Robes, & Sheets - Nothing is more fun than sliding around on some satin sheets in satin pajamas. If you have sensitive skin, simply put a 100% cotton t-shirt underneath.
Pastels like beige, green, lavender, and/or blue work best for relaxing at night.
Pink is always fun to wear during the day.
* DIY - A fun project is great for mental stimulation. It can be redecorating, artistic painting, planting veggies or flowers, cooking, etc.
* Comedy - Laughing keeps everyone young. Making time to watch funny videos together is a great way to relax. You can easily get your news from comedy programs as well.
The bottom line is that you want to take note of what you consume as a couple.
That 35 to 45 "mid life crisis/reinvention" time may not be the best time to be all up on social media every single day. You know, Moderation. ;)
* Travel - This can be short errand trips, nature walks, and/or long vacations.
Having a vacation every 3 to 6 months is ideal.
Get a private car pick up and/or private car tour as well.
* Volunteer - Focusing on people, places, and things outside of yourself can be very rewarding.
It will ultimately bring couples closer together at the end of the day.
Volunteering is always a win win! :)
Some people have been curious as to why I find living in Asia fascinating.
My Grad studies and B.A. degree were actually in Sociology of Marriage and Family.
As much as I love many aspects of Asia, the sociological aspects have been the most fascinating for me. It may seem like countries like SK are behind in many ways. That's not necessarily true though. Generation Z is right in line with how many young people feel around the World.
The discussion of marriage and family was quite popular for my Millennial generation as well.
The same statistics continue to line up in many ways. Higher educated women are simply less likely to see marriage as a necessity and/or desire.
Although there are still those who like the idea of marriage or long term unions, many are quite practical in engaging in it.
Luckily all types of couplings/families (cohabitation, LGBT, rainbow marriages, couples with furry pet children, voluntary single parenting, etc) are gaining more recognition in Asia.
It has been very interesting to observe as someone who has already reached their mental limit with American stats. SK is really representing the future right now.
If a Lie Detector game has made it into your relationship, you may need to scroll all the way down and take some of my practical advice.
If your relationship is just having a restless night, you may want to play a game or two.
A little competitive sport and/or game of monopoly can always tell you a thing or two about personalities.
I will say that the #1 thing that Intuitives often "snitch" about is someone's loyalty, especially if they have cheated and/or are cheating. Nine out of ten times, the partner who is asking already knows the answer though. Nine out of ten times people will not change either.
Once a cheater, always a cheater rings very true. It may just turn to thoughts more.
Stop asking Intuitives the cheating question.
Talk things out with your partner first, figure out your relationship's standards, and take up the necessary actions to stay or leave.
Relationships are as relevant as the present moment.
Focus on getting from the present moments to the future.
At the end of the day, the only thing that you should be "investing" in "long term" is your money.
I'm just saying. ;)
Got it? Good.
This is one of the most accurate compatibility books that I've owned in the past.
Luckily you can access the book's relationship profiles and insights via the website.
I've tested many relationships during my time on this planet. I'm still amazed when the compatibility profiles are accurate!
Nobody needs to get creepy with these reports by the way, especially if you don't know the person in real life.
Do take this Disclaimer seriously! :)
One thing to take note of when you read compatibility profiles of your friends, family, and/or romantic partnerships is your relationship patterns.
My best relationships (platonic and romantic) have focused on spirituality, psychic connections, etc. It's also amazing to look at all the different people, cultures, lifestyles, etc that you have come across in your life.
The superficial compatibility profiles are always based on physical and/or sexual attractions.
You shouldn't be surprised by those. ;) Enjoy your short little relationships though.
As you get older, you'll start to see more spiritual connections enter in. That's always a good sign.
Take a look at your current relationships. It may give you clues to where you are in your life and relations.
You'll want to go to the #2 option below to look up compatibility reports.
You'll only need the Day and Month of someone to test out the connection.
Simply enter an email to gather up points that allow you to read a bunch of compatibility reports.
Curious Compatibly Report Example:
Here's one compatibility report below that I've been curious about.
It's no secret that I'm a fan of EXO. I've used some members as muses throughout my blogs.
I have been curious as to why I like certain members though. I've looked into each report for clues.
Baekhyun is one member that I've been the most curious about after highlighting his palm on the blog. I don't think he'll mind me using him as an example again.
After reading the compatibility report, I've been really curious to feel the energy out.
It's actually a cute platonic energy once you focus on the non dramatic parts.
Some of these profiles read like Kdramas if I'm just being honest. It can be a bit cringe.
The advice section in the reports is always lovely.
I'm sure Baekhyun will be a communicative singer for a long time.
That's one thing that EXO fans really appreciate about him!
Looking young can be a blessing for couples. It naturally makes one feel younger.
It's a great excuse for couples to enjoy their inner child more.
As we age past 30, we naturally start to lose hydration in our bodies.
Many couples start to put aside unhealthy habits that age them even faster.
Some of the best ways to maintain a "baby face" and youthful relationship is with daily pampering.
This can be couple massage chairs to de-tress, healthy eating, and of course hydration drinks and supplements.
Here are some of the Best ways to stay hydrated and youthful as an aging couple.
I personally take in all of these!
* Water - Water is one of the easiest resources for maintaining hydration in your body.
Enjoy 1 liter after waking up and after any water loss (exercise, etc).
Drinking water after eating assists in digestion as well.
* Collagen Drinks - The recommended doses of 10 grams to 20 grams improves skin elasticity and skin structure against aging.
Seek a collagen drink that has added Vitamin C for the best results.
Simply pour a 10 ml bottle into a wine glass at night to get fancy.
You'll wake up to much more youthful skin.
* Phytoceramides - Ceramides protect the skin and locks in moisture.
Some say that ceramides are the true "fountain of youth".
Enjoy a gluten free rice formula brand for the best absorption. The recommended dose of 40 mg is best for increased moisture levels. Results can be seen in 5 days with full results in 1 to 3 months.
**Seek out a drink formula that has both collagen and ceramides
(Ex: Lennox Firm Up Forte Gold with 10 grams of collagen and 20 mg rice extract ceramides (24pk)
Simply pour a 10 ml bottle into a wine glass at night.
You'll wake up to much more hydrated skin from the inside out.
** Ceramides via pill supplements can be found in brands like Youtheory Skin Collagen + Ceramides with 3 grams of collagen and 40 mg rice extract ceramides.
* Aloe Veral Gel - 100% Aloe Vera Gel is great for deep skin hydration, skin cleansing, skin brightening, instant relief from mosquito bites, sunburns, burns, etc. The salicylic acid acts as a pain reliever.
Taking 1-2 tablespoons of fresh Aloe Vera juice in the morning detoxes and hydrate your body from the inside out. Aloe vera is antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory.
It contains Vit A, C, E, B12, Folic Acid, and Choline.
* Omega 3 Fatty Acids - Omega 3s are great for brain function and skin hydration.
Enjoy over 1200 mg of Omega 3s via a Vitamin D enriched meal of wild sardines or wild salmon.
* Astaxanthin - Astaxanthin is a strong red antioxidant that increases skin hydration and skin protection. It's great for anti-aging because it's stronger than Vitamin C and CoQ10.
It's also a fast anti-inflammatory for anyone with food allergies!
You can also take CoQ10 as well.
The recommended dose of 12 mg keeps you protected from the sun and dry cold winters.
Enjoy 4 mg naturally via a heart healthy salmon meal and/or simply pop your red pill during your meal.
Your hydrated and youthful skin will definitely thank you later! :)
I came across an interesting article today concerning the false portrayals of happy marriages in some star couples in KR (HERE). I'm posting this out of compassion for the couples due to the age differences and their spotlights. I was actually keeping up with one of the couples at one point due to the age differences. Both women's situations are extremely common in many American couples (famous and non famous) as well.
I've personally dated older and younger in my own life as well.
Although I believe that women should wait until one's Saturn Return (astrological coming of age period from age 27-30) is over to commit to a relationship, there are still people who commit before age 31. I spoke about the Saturn Return on the Spirit Blog.
The main issue with many relationships is the Relationship Checkpoints.
The Universe vibrates to 3s. This means that every 3 weeks, 6 weeks, etc are checkpoints to check in with one another. This is a great time to plan activities and/or travels together. Doing this every month can build a healthy routine for staying in touch with the relationship's emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. Even picking a day every week for lunch, walks, sexy time, etc can assist for weekly catching up. You should take biorhythms (energy patterns) into consideration as well.
I mentioned that previously below.
Keeping your relationships private can also help in maintaining focus.
The Main Checkpoints will come every 3 months and 3 years. The 3rd year is often a year when the "love" starts to wear off and the "like" comes in more. This is why building a friendship first can benefit a relationship in the long run. Some couples may find that they don't really like one another. That's when building up a friendship foundation may be best if it wasn't there to begin with.
The Major Checkpoints will come around the 9th and 12th year though. This is when relationships often get to the point of breaking up. The number 9 is associated with endings for new beginnings. It really requires couples to reinvent themselves, heal any past issues, and/or simply move on.
Understanding these checkpoints can really help couples out in the long run.
Best wishes forward! <3
There's nothing more fun than a little Spring shopping. Pastels have always been great colors to decorate with and wear all year long. Your mood and attraction levels will instantly go up in return, especially with the color pink!
I have experimented with pink for a long time. It really is a magical color to work with.
Here are a few ways to work with the color for your own love and luck benefits.
Wear Pink -
Pink is associated with compassion, youthfulness, and your feminine side.
It's a great color for easing tensions and attracting love.
Try a pink hat, sunglasses, perfume, jewelry, dress, undies, socks, shoes, etc.
Visualize Pink in Your Aura -
Pink is a great color to visualize in your environments and/or in your energy field/aura.
I once advised a client (testimonial below) to visualize pink in her aura to attract more love. She got invited to a party later that same day! It's not rocket science. :)
Carry a Pink Purse and/or Wallet -
Some people date and/or marry for money.
Some people date and/or marry for love.
I say do both!
A pink purse and wallet can attract both love and money in relationships.
You may also find yourself getting free gifts and offers out of nowhere in return. ;)
P.S. Make sure to update your wardrobe, decor, etc when it gets outdated.
Keeping things organized with ziploc bags, hangers, etc keeps energy alive and well. :)
This is something for everyone to think about.
There is always that one type of guy and/or girl that is worth getting dressed up for.
It can be a simple sundress and hat, a blouse with pants, and/or simply taking the time to style your hair. Former and/or present church kids and office workers know the hassle!
Think about the qualities that the person will have that's worth it. What is their style, personal interests, etc. You can easily do your own mental scroll to identify them.
By the way, Nobody online is worth getting dressed up for. It's still best to meet people in person in classy environments. Otherwise you may just end up with a bunch of DM slides that go absolutely nowhere fast. You shouldn't waste too much of your time on online stimulants.
As someone who has lived all over "conservative" Asia since Summer 2019, I've noticed how women and men dress in different environments (cities, islands, suburbs, etc). You can tell who is looking for a partner, who has the right partner, and who is about to exit their partnership.
The next time you're thinking about your ideal mate and relationship, just ask yourself
"Are they worth getting dressed up for?"
As much as couples need a little spontaneity every now and then, routines really do keep relationships "sane". This can also apply to the relationship with yourself!
Here are some things to take into consideration...
* Your Biorhythms (energy patterns) - Knowing you and your partner's high and low days can save you a lot of time on the "mood swings". You can check them HERE.
* Your PMS days - Men have these days too! This is a prime time for taking your partner out to eat, out to drink, and/or bringing it all in to them. You think most Mukbangs happen around this time? Try to keep the majority of the foods that you consume in the low sugar and low salt range IF you can. Otherwise you'll both have to deal with cramps and/or crampy moods later!
* Your Birthdays - This is just in case you forget. You may want to write down the age that you or your partner will be. I stopped doing the math and caring after age 35. You're as old as you look and feel in my opinion. You may want to include other special occasions if they are important to you.
* Spa Days - Self care days should always be marked down to remind yourself to Chillax.
Enjoy some time off to enjoy a little pampering.
* Date Nights - Date nights should be scheduled based on mutual moods and mutual interests.
It's good to plan atleast 3 to 6 days in advance to avoid "cancellation highs".
Fellow Millennials love cancelling plans that they never wanted to do in the first place.
You may want to plan further in advance for travel plans, concerts, etc though.
* Errand Days - These are great to mark for grocery deliveries, package deliveries, and/or errands that you actually run.
Frugal couples know when the best sale days are for just about everything.
Mid week errands are often low on the crowds. They can also be good travel and sightseeing days, esp during overcast days.
* Adulting Days - These are days to handle your foundations (health, career, finances, home, etc). Solid foundations = Solid relations.
* Pet Care - Animals need routines as well. Your fur babies will appreciate it.
Ex: My little hamster in spirit always knew when it was play time. He was taken out of his cage to run around in a supervised area at exactly 7 pm. Hamsters are active during the evening vs day. Make sure to learn about your pet's biological nature. This routine kept him from escaping his cage like Houdini. Even if the clock went 5 minutes past that time, he would look at me like "What's up Denise? Are we going to do this or what?" That's how his personality sounded in my head. lol
Some animals (Ex: dogs) like having a job to do as well. Give them a little backpack to carry with their own water, snacks, etc during walks. You can also take your cat(s) out on a leash. They actually do like the outdoors! Stray cats in Asia are chilling at the parks and seaside all of the time. :)
Compatibility is based on many different factors. You can keep it simple by trusting your instincts or analyze the hell out of it. I do a little bit of both. ;)
All relationships are just mirrors at the end of the day. They reflect the qualities that we need to bring up within and/or release. All relationships are about personal growth.
Here are some fun ways to determine your compatibility with people (friends, family, lovers, etc).
* Mutual Interests and Values – This is pretty straightforward. Having mutual interests and values allows for easier communications and quality time. If you don’t know what your interests are, think back to your childhood. What did you enjoy?
* Biorhythm Compatibility (energy rhythms) – Your Physical (energy levels), Emotional (moods), and Intellectual (comprehension) levels are calculated with your birthdate.
Example: Someone with the same month, day, and year of birth will always be 100% matched on all levels. You both would be energetic at the same times, in positive moods at the same times, and chatty at the same times.
* Western Zodiac Signs – Your best zodiac matches can be based on the same element and/or element cycles.
Example: Fire Signs (Sagittarius, Aries, Leo), Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), Air Signs (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius), Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio)
Example: Element Cycles (Air Signs fuel Fire Signs to make them more passionate (good or bad)
* Chinese Zodiac Signs – Your best animal matches for love are great for friendships and/or romantic relationships. You can befriend any animal in the zodiac though to learn from.
* Face Reading Features – People are generally attracted to people that look like them. I’m not talking about race though. I’ve seen some adorable interracial couples (Blasians, etc) that share many of the same facial features (rounded faces (nurturing), upward eyes (optimistic), full lips (outspoken), widow’s peaks (androgynous), dimples (great sense of humor), etc).
You would think they were twins! It's not unusual though. Some women have given birth to two separate races of twins, different sexes of twins, etc. Homogeneous is a myth. Ah Science! ;)
* First Name Vowel – The first vowel is the “Soul Vowel”. It describes how someone is at the soul level, especially in their vocal communication styles!
Example: A, O (likes to get to the point in vocal conversations), E,I,U (likes to shoot the breeze and build rapport in vocal conversations).
Now you can see all the ways to determine compatibility.
It’s why people from all walks of life can get along in the World. Just find out what you have in common with people vs. what you don’t. That’s how to live your life in general.
Stay positive everyone! :)
